For THE UNOBTAINABLES Series I was torn between raising funds for a sizzle reel or shooting the works on the pilot. Of course, economically speaking the sizzle reel would be more cost effective. I need loads of input here. Check out the site www.theunobtainablesseries.com to get the lowdown on the themes and items crucial to the series. I need ideas first--not money to start an Indiegogo or Kickstarter campaign. I need campaign incentives. Will need a few of the same item or the duplication of a number of original works.
Just a reminder, THE UNOBTAINABLES is in the vein or a homage if you will, of those deliciously decedent guilty pleasures of "Dynasty" or "Knots Landing" which was the magic of the late Aaron Spelling. If you miss these shows and your daytime pleasures of "All My Children" and "One Life To Live" you would want to be a part of THE UNOBTAINABLES.
Also interested in creative input. I'm building this from the ground up so get on board early if you are talent above and below the line. We're based in NYC.
Remember, this is a 1/2 single camera dramadey series with 13 written episodes being marketed to cable or webseries. It's not Romper Room. It's for the club crowd. Old school shout out to friends in NYC at The Monster, The Limelight, The Palladium. I need your product donations and ideas.
